A SHOULDER TO CRAYON
Ursuline Secondary School, Thurles
’A Shoulder to Crayon’ emphasizes the lack of education given to girls in poor countries. From top to bottom this piece is packed with color, from the 15,840 pieces of punched erasers to the 120 pens crushed. The colorful design represents the brightness an education can bring to a young girls’ life. This piece also has jarring angles, from the hexagonal accessories to the geometric shoulder piece.
