We made a base for our dress with a wireframe and a corset-style top. We cut all of our wine corks in half and painted them, then used them to cover the base. We made the headpiece in the shape of an eye to portray the message “beauty is in the eye of the beholder”. We used a waistband to secure the headpiece to the head and used black tights across the face so the model could see through it.
