Design Description
Inspired by perception and judgment, ‘Don’t Judge a Book By Its Cover’ challenges society’s habit of making assumptions based on appearance. A partially concealed face symbolises hidden depth, while the rest of the outfit represents surface-level judgments. Made from 15kg of repurposed waste, the shirt is interwoven with cable ties, rubber strips line the skirt, and plastic bags add dramatic layers to the back. A bold statement on equality and the need to look beyond first impressions.
