Design Description
Main sources of inspiration; Reptiles, armours, fire and dragons. Our theme is a firey warrior who reveals their fantastical side in a fight. In the medieval era, fantastical creatures were persecuted, so we wanted to twist the warrior that hunted them into one that defended them. We enjoyed the reveal in our design to add a story to our performance. We manipulated most plastic shape sources with heat which you can see around the shoulders—fruit mesh plastic for the makeup.
Materials Used: Plastic milk cartons, sweet sheet plastic stands, cardboard, garbage bags, plastic cups, wood, expanding foam, and upcycled fabric with shoes and flip flops made the draconic defender. ●Garbage bag: *Thread to sew on most milk carton scales to the shorts. *Strips of scales attached to the tail, made from an old table cloth. ●Sweet plastic sheet stands *Bigger spikes and scales.
