Design Description

Inspired by concerns over local bogland litter, ‘Lady of the Landscape’ celebrates nature’s beauty and the impact of waste. The design features a Rara-style skirt and an asymmetrical peplum top woven with vivid purple heather and earthy greenery for a rustic charm. Using hand-dyeing and laser cutting, 2.4kg of duvet wadding from 3 duvets and 100 plastic bottles—6kg of waste in total—are transformed into wearable art. A kinetic waterfall detail adds movement and serves as a powerful call to protect our environment.
