Design Description

Inspired by the movement of jellyfish, ‘Medusa’ shows the beauty of marine life while raising awareness of ocean pollution. The layered skirt flows like jellyfish tentacles, while a clear umbrella creates a bubble-like effect. A shell-adorned headpiece ties the design to the sea, representing the fragile balance of ocean ecosystems. Made from 20kg of plastic waste, this design highlights the dangers of pollution and how marine animals are mistaking plastic for food.
