Our dress is made from the old vertical blinds from the art room. Its influences are the shape of fish bones and fish skeletons, with color influences of tropical sea urchins. We cut strips of blinds into herringbone shapes and sewed them facing outwards with a sewing machine. The neckpiece is inspired by Elizabethan collars to represent a neighbor peeking through blinds.
