Design Description

The design is inspired by digital divides in the world today. We were shocked to discover that only around 35% of the population in developing countries have access to the internet. The internet is not a luxury but a basic necessity for economic and human development. It is a powerful tool for delivering essential services such as education and health care, which can help countries escape poverty and move in the direction of prosperity. Governments need to work honestly to reform this injustice and make internet access a reality for all communities worldwide.

Materials Used: copper wire stripped from their plastic covering. Wires are handwoven macramé and then hand-stitched. It took more than 2 hours to weave each body length strip of macramé. We used thousands and thousands of waste copper wires from electricians waste. cable ties
