Design Description

Inspired by past Junk Kouture finalists, ‘Unwrapped’ explores the idea that in high school our true selves can be hidden until we finally show who we really are. The design features a prominent ribbon at the back, symbolising the moment you shed the need to fit in and embrace authenticity. Constructed from a graduation gown and a tutu, Unwrapped celebrates the beauty of being your true self and reminds us that the best version of you is simply you.
