Design Description

Inspired by identity and social media pressures, ‘@user25071108’ contrasts reality with curated personas. The abaya, made from childhood clothing, symbolises protection, while frayed seams expose fragile self-image. A corset made of mood boards reflects trend influence, and a thrifted skirt highlights fast fashion’s waste. A sculpted mannequin represents the divide between self and public image, while an Amazon box frame signifies the waste of chasing online perfection. This design critiques social media’s toll, urging authenticity and mindful consumption.
