We chose IKEA bags as material as IKEA products are all about transformation. We chose the name (C3H6)n as that is the chemical formula for Polypropylene which is what IKEA bags are made from. We referenced the tin man in the Wizard of Oz as he represents mistreated American factory workers in the 1890s. We wanted to show that we have transformed to be better people and we can continue to do so
