Design Description
The designs for my dress was inspired by nature in particular the rushes from wet land. I was inspired by patterns in Celtic designs and St Brigid’s crosses. I always had the idea of an Irish themed dress for my Junk Kouture. I remember in primary school we used to make St. Brigid’s crosses and that’s why I ended up doing St. Brigid’s crosses around my neck! I live on a farm, and there are a lot of rushes in a field.
