Design Description
The idea of using egg cartons came from a video we watched as part of our Home Economics Junior Certificate Course. In the video, many chickens were enclosed in tight cages and didn’t have any room to move around. We felt that this was a form of animal cruelty. We know that by using free-range egg cartons in our design we won’t be able to solve this issue but we hope that our dress will raise awareness of this problem.
