Financial Controller

Permanent full-time 

Location: Ireland 

 

We are currently going through a rapid expansion across 13 countries and are looking for an ambitious and driven management accountant to lead our accounts and admin team. Reporting to the COO you will be responsible for the smooth running of accounts operations as well as contributing to, and influencing, future business strategy. 

The successful candidate will play a key role in financial control and management, ensuring the company receives high quality, professional and responsive services. The successful candidate will also be responsible for implementing policies and procedures, whilst ensuring compliance with company standards and oversight of the general day to day activities. 

 

Duties and Responsibilities will include: 

 

      • – Day to day management of accounts and admin team 
      • – Ensure daily and weekly accounting practices are adhered to 
      • – All aspects of VAT and PAYE and Submissions to UK or Irish Tax Authorities 
      • – Management of Purchase Ledger/Sales Ledger/Aged Debt/Cash Books 
      • – Preparation of the Junk Kouture Statutory Financial Statements and Monthly Management Accounts; 
      • – Liaise with our External Accountants 
      • – Ensure all government legislation and legal requirements are met at all times 
      • – Support the management team in analysing, understanding, and interpreting the operational and financial performance of the company through use of both operational and financial KPIs and help improve business decision making and performance 
      • – Help with the management of Cash Flow 
      • – Preparation of budgets, forecasts, and other such financial projections; 
      • – Management of the payroll process requiring collaboration between HR and Finance to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing and reports 
      • – Ability to put in place Financial Control processes 
      • – Weekly/Monthly bank reconciliations across a large volume of transactions 
      • – Ability to identify and measure different Social Impacts 

 

Applicants will be required to demonstrate that they can meet the following criteria: 

 

      • – CGMA / ACMA / ACA / ACCA qualification 
      • – Previous experience 
      • – Excellent client facing skills 
      • – Excellent IT skills including Microsoft suite/Office 365/Xero 
      • – Organised and good time management skills 
      • – Attention to Detail 
      • – Experience of UK and Irish Tax Regimes
