SVP Digital Media

We are currently going through a rapid expansion across 13 countries and are looking for an ambitious and driven SVP Digital Media to lead our marketing team. You will lead our marketing efforts using new media and digital tools.

Reporting to the CCO you will be responsible for the smooth running of marketing operations as well as contributing to, and influencing, future business strategy.

The successful candidate will play a key role in digital marketing management, and be a highly motivated, strategic, and creative individual, with experience and passion for connecting with our current and future audiences online and implementing successful strategies. Our customers are integral to our brand, and we engage with these in a meaningful way daily. Duties and Responsibilities will include:

 

  • – Produce and publish social strategies in line with brand positioning – master brand and specific target audiences (schools, educators, contestants, sponsors, investors, commercial partners)
  • – Planning, scheduling, and posting across all social and digital platforms including the JK website; adapt content and messaging for each platform – Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Twitter, Twitch, Snapchat
  • – Produce daily video and image-based social content, using/reusing existing asset bank
  • – Developing and managing growth on existing and new platforms with agreed targets
  • – Putting together online marketing campaigns for key events and launches
  • – Manage localisation strategy for international rollout
  • – Develop and manage the JK online community offering engaging and informative content
  • – Managing any paid media campaign being run on behalf of JK
  • – Weekly content and analytics review, with a presentation of key learnings to JK team
  • – Provide useable insight and analysis across all social media platforms,monitoring effectiveness of content, responding accordingly
  • – To keep up to date with trends and events to maximise impact of digital content
  • – Report and remove copyright infringing products and content online
  • – Develop monetisation strategies as directed
  • – Helping to develop new E-Commerce and online revenue generating solutions
  • – Contribute to overall content strategy and digital growth as part of the JK team

 

Applicants will be required to demonstrate that they can meet the following criteria:

 

  • – Proven work experience as a Digital media specialist or Digital marketing manager
  • – Solid knowledge of Photoshop/Final Cut Pro/Premiere Pro/Audacity or other media editing software
  • – Experience with visual communication principles
  • – Familiarity with web design and content management systems
  • – Excellent analytical and project management skills
  • – An ability to multitask and perform under tight deadlines
  • – Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • – BSc degree in Marketing, Digital media or relevant field
  • – Additional qualification in web design or animation is a plus but not essential
