Junk Kouture recently partnered with DHL Express Ireland to deliver an exclusive behind-the-scenes warehouse experience for our Dublin City Finalists.
Students were given rare access to DHL’s Dublin facility, gaining insight into global logistics, innovation, and sustainability in action. The visit brought real-world learning to life, connecting creativity with industry in a meaningful and memorable way.
As part of the experience, students also took part in a creative session with sustainable fashion designer and Junk Kouture judge, Claire Garvey, further exploring the intersection of design, circularity, and innovation.
Throughout the day, students engaged directly with the DHL team, explored potential career pathways, and built a deeper understanding of how global systems operate.
This collaboration reflects Junk Kouture’s commitment to creating opportunities beyond the competition stage and delivering value for students, schools, and partners alike.
Looking ahead, we’re excited to continue working with DHL, including bringing their pre-show Soundstage experience to the upcoming Dublin City Final.
