Junk Kouture Heads to Manchester for the Good Clothes Show
Young creativity, circular fashion and alumni voices take centre stage this November.

Bringing Sustainable Creativity to Manchester
Junk Kouture is heading to Manchester for the Good Clothes Show, taking place on 7–8 November 2026, bringing an exhibition of student-designed wearable art to the event.
Across the weekend, visitors will have the opportunity to explore four Junk Kouture creations by talented students from Cnoc Mhuire, Co. Longford. Each design demonstrates how discarded materials can be transformed through creativity, craftsmanship and sustainable thinking.
Four Designs, Four Stories
From repurposed milk cartons and old educational tapes to discarded artificial flowers and household materials, the exhibition celebrates the students' innovative approach to circular fashion.
Each creation also connects to a UN Sustainable Development Goal, exploring themes including Zero Hunger, Quality Education, Gender Equality, and Sustainable Cities and Communities.
A huge thank you to the students of Cnoc Mhuire for sharing their creativity and allowing their designs to be showcased at the event.
Junk Kouture Alumni Join the Conversation
Alongside the exhibition, Junk Kouture alumni will feature in a panel discussion, sharing their experiences and perspectives on creativity, sustainability and the opportunities that emerge through the Junk Kouture journey.
The discussion will offer visitors an insight into the next generation of creative talent and the role young people can play in shaping a more sustainable fashion industry.
Looking Ahead
The Good Clothes Show provides another opportunity for Junk Kouture to bring young designers' work to new audiences, highlighting the importance of creativity, education and circular thinking.
