Thousands of individual texturized plastic pieces were cut out and hand sewn on our dress to achieve a softness and flow. We decided to represent the rock bottom of drug abuse as a series of spikes we cut out from the blister pack lids. Our dress represented a journey from addiction to recovery. Incorporating a diamond shape on the bottom of the dress represents the light at the end of the tunnel.
