Design Description
“Knot Beautiful”, is a 1920’s inspired dress, representing the fragmented perceptions of beauty through generations. The dress itself contains hundreds of knots. I used macrame techniques to create fragments within the dress design and contrasted it with flowers to emphasise natural beauty. I was inspired by Iris Van Herpen and her stunning patterns within her designs.
