Design Description

Inspired by the dawn of the Industrial Revolution in Glasgow in the 1760s, this dress is a nod to the traditional weaving and knitting methods that preceded this era. The deisgner went above and beyond in their commitment to sustainability, sourcing the 50 plastic bags used for the knitting from their class, family, friends, and their own homes. The result is a stunning piece of fashion that not only tells a story of history and sustainability but also serves as a reminder of our responsibility towards the environment.
