Wear the Change: Reimagine Fashion, Redefine What’s Possible

Wear the Change invites students to take unwanted, discarded or pre-loved materials and transform them into an original look, proving that creativity doesn't have to start with something new.

Bringing together Junk Kouture's creative and educational expertise, Vision Ireland's commitment to circular fashion and reuse, and AMLÉ's third-level student community, the initiative is all about recognising the potential in what already exists.

From Forgotten Materials to Original Fashion

From old clothes and charity shop finds to fabrics, packaging, furniture, uniforms or anything else you can get creative with, Wear the Change encourages students to look at everyday materials differently.

If it already exists, you can make it something new.

This isn't about following a trend. It's about creating your own.

We're looking for bold ideas, big creativity and original designs that make people stop and look.

Creativity Without Limits

You don't need to be a fashion student. You don't need to be a professional designer.

All you need is an idea, some imagination and the ambition to bring it to life.

Whether you're passionate about sustainability, love experimenting with materials or simply want to try something different, Wear the Change is an opportunity to explore what fashion can become when creativity meets circular thinking.

Your creation could go from something forgotten to the centre of the catwalk.

Don't just wear the change. Create it.

Wear the Change is open to third-level students across Ireland.
